The 24 hour policy comes from the FDA regulation and the science of tanning. The FDA recommends the maximum exposure levels to UV radiation within a 24 hour period. You can check out the policy document here. https://www.regulations.gov/document/FDA-2020-D-0957-0025. Tanning color can begin to develop within minutes of getting out of the tanning bed and last for up to 48 hours. At 24 hours the development process begins to decline up to the 48 hour mark.
All Vip Members over the age of 18 are eligible to request 24 hour access to the salons. This includes access on the 9 holidays a year we are closed. Part of having 24 hour access is being responsible and respectful of other clients and the salon. We will go over with you how to clean the beds and reset the beds so they are ready and available for the next client. Since we are not at the salon at these times we rely on clients to clean their own bed when we are not here. We do also recommend cleaning the bed before you tan just to be sure there isnt any residue left over from a previous client. We always ensure all the beds are clean and sanitized before we leave at the end of the day and again when we return in the morning. We do charge the following fees should damages occur during unattended hours.
$100 Fee for not cleaning or resetting the bed so that other clients can use the bed.
$800-$1500 for damage to acrylics on the tanning beds
$200 per day that a tanning bed is not useable due to damages done intentionally until all repairs are completed.
Our Save and Stay plan reduces your monthly fee to $5 and allows your membership to go into a hibernation state. This allows you to keep your monthly rate and benefits even while you take a short break from tanning. As a VIP member your membership rate is locked in for life as long as your account remains active. So the save and stay plan can save you quite a bit instead of canceling and repaying the current membership rate and the activation fees.
We respect your choices and if the membership is not working for you we offer easy ways to cancel your membership. Since your membership is a legally binding agreement we do require the notice to cancel in writing. We off the following ways to submit a cancelation request:
Come into the salon and sign the cancelation request form.
Send a certified letter to the main salon at Perfect Tan Missouri, 220 Branson Hills PKWY #200, Branson MO 65616. We recommend certified so you know we received your request and it wasn't lost in the mail.
Send an email to Cancel@PerfectTanMissouri.com We will process your request within 72 hours and you will receive an email back with the cancelation receipt form. If you don't receive this please call or text us asap! We try to always watch our spam folder but sometimes things can get missed.
Use our online ChatBot. Our chatbot will cancel your VIP membership immediately if all cancelation qualifications are met.
All of our options to cancel will give you a receipt when your cancelation is processed. We only request at least 3 days notice before your draft date to ensure that your account is canceled and won't draft on your next draft date. If you give us less than 3 days notice it is possible that your cancelation won't go into effect until after your draft date and will be effective at the end of your next month.
The only qualification to cancel your VIP Membership is that your Membership must be in good standing with no past due balance. If you have a past due balance you will have to bring your account current before we can process your cancelation request.
If you have a past due balance on your account for 30 days or more we do have the option to terminate your membership for non-payment. If your account is terminated for nonpayment you will still be responsible for the past due amount and the collection costs, legal fees, and court costs. Beginning in 2026 collection costs will be $1000 and our lawyer's fees will be $1500. Court costs will be whatever the current rates are for the Taney County Court. A judgement in the county court does allow for your wages to be garnished up to 25% until the debt is satisfied.
We make every possible effort to help our clients when they are struggling because we do view our clients as family. If there is ever a situation that will cause your account to become past due we ask that you reach out to us before it happens or as quickly afterward so that we can resolve the situation as easily as possible. You will receive weekly texts and/or emails as well as attempts to redraft your past due amount and the $15 decline fee until the account is brought current or is terminated.
As per your agreement if your payment declines we do charge a $15 decline fee. This helps to offset the time and resources we have to use to make attempts to collect your past due amount. You always have the option to pay your membership before your draft date if for some reason your regular card on file will be declined. We know that there are times that fraud can happen on your account or you just lose your card and need to have it replaced. We have had that happen to us too. That is why we will waive the decline fee 1 time on your account if you contact us before your draft date to let us know that your payment card has been compromised.
You are able to change your billing card by coming into the salon, through our app, or through a billing update text. If you ever need help with doing this you can always call or text us!
